Kinroad Windbell restricteds?
#1
Hello all. I am guy from finland and I can't speak Danish, so I speak English now.

I have Kinroad Windbell 2005 -scooter (type number is XT50QT-2 and version number is XT50QT-2-01) and I want drive faster with it. Now I can drive on straight way max. 55 km/h and to downhill about 70 km/h. I am looking for many restrictions and I haven't found anything. Under carburetor's flap wasn't any tap, in variator wasn't a washer, CDI-box isn't restricted I think, carburetor's suction port (?) was a normal size and in exhaust's initial curve wasn't any washer.

I have pictures of my CDI-box, so someone can tell me is this restricted from that black box.
And the pictures from CDI-box and carburetor:

I have the same scooter.

Theres plenty of tricks on this forum but in danish.
I will translate some later.

The CDI is not restricted as far as I see (only 5 wires to the box + you can drive 70 downhill).

Washer in variator - whats that ?

Hello and thanks for that .pdf. I know that I can change my variator rollers lighter, but I haven't now impact wrench. Actually my purpose is get more top speed. Acceleration is good idea too, but when I leave in finnish, I wan't to drive in avenue the same speed than cars (about 60 km/h).

Are you sure? My scooter were after-sales service and a service man said that there isn't any rings in variator. So... Can I believe this forum or not? Cause I haven't impact wrench now and it's difficult get it...

In Denmark most varios have rings.
But mabe not in your case.

In the carburator you can change the jet (dyse in danish) to a bigger one = more fuel to the engine

Mjellow! And welcome to this board! Always nice with foreigner-scooter-friends :drunk:
I will try my best to help you out with your problem.

Possible restrictions on your scooter:

CDI restriction
As you already know, many CDI's are restricted. But it seems that your scooter's CDI isn't restricted.

Jet in carburator
The jet in the carburator is proberly a few sizes to small.

Washer in variator
As other people in here has already mention, many scooter's are restricted in the variator with a washer.
http://billig-scooter.dk/viewtopic.php?t=49
But since your scooter can run 70km/h downhill I don't think it is restricted in variator!

Restriction in carb
Under the black lid on your carb, look for a "screw" and un-screw it. (Remember to change your jet to a larger one also in your carb then!)
http://www.billig-scooter.dk/album_pic.php?pic_id=235

So, my guess is: A to small jet in the carb + a "screw-like"-thingy under the black lid on the carb.

Hope that can help you along

Hi, and thanks for post! Like I said that under carburetor's flap wasn't any tap. Ked af det But I think that my variator is something restrict. So, I think I have to get 12V electric impact wrench. Jet in carburator... Hmm. Many peoples said that should change a few size bigger, but when carburetor get more gas, then it should get more air too, am I right? So, if I change the jet, I have to cut pipe out from air cleaner?
